For starters...

I'd like to start off the actual posts with my favourite shirt so far. The first arty print I bought, and the design that launched me into this mini obsession. Even though it's not new, and I have seen a lot since then, it maintains its position at #1 in my list of designs.

CMDixon2's "Rain, Rain Go Away" is a gorgeous design. It first printed on Shirt.Woot! 10 September 2010, and I deeply regret only buying one. I've worn it a few times, but the ink in the clouds is too thin, and I don't want to ruin the image in the wash.
The work is just beautiful to me. The design stands well on its own, without knowing what theme it belongs to. It has no reference to pop culture, nor does it reference some joke that was funny at the time. It tells a simple story, the colour choice is spot on with the minimal pallet, the linework is nothing short of perfect, and the asymmetrical balance works so well on a shirt. It isn't cutesy, which is one of my biggest problems with most of what ends up printing on Woot!. Best of all is that it's unisex; whereas some prints don't really work for men, and some don't belong on women's tees, this could go on anybody.
It's a brilliant print, and I may just frame it. There is just something about it that really speaks to me.
